This past April (2008), Master Tomizaki was invited to oversee a high level Black Belt test (up to 4th degree) in Choy Lay Fut and Praying Mantis at the Instituto de Kung Fu Shaolin, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The occasion brought together over 200 people that witnessed many performances; including students, instructors and Masters. The grand finale performance was by Master Tomizaki. The crowd was very warm and welcoming to his performance of Choy Lay Fut.
During this trip, Master Tomizaki also conducted
a maximum capacity international seminar in Choy Lay Fut for advanced students. (seminar requests can be submitted to info@championskungfu.com)
Congratulations to prof. Daniel Hirata of the Academia Wushu de Kung Fu in the city of Campinas, Brazil, for the 1st Anniversary of his school. The celebration was attended by Masters, instructors and students of several affiliated schools. Master Tomizaki presented prof. Hirata with a celebratory plaque of congratulations. Master Tomizaki was honored with an Appreciation Award.
The performances were thrilling and kept the audience of over 125 in awe. The highlights of evening were Master Marco Serra's Praying Mantis and Master Tomizaki's Choy Lay Fut.
Master Tomizaki's 27 years of teaching has brought together people from all over interested in the true path of the Martial Arts. Many of these people share and practice the same true values, and that is leading to the formation of an International Organization.
