Kamran Rahbari
2nd degree black belt

Kamran Rahbari began his kung fu training at the age of 7, in the hopes of learning how to defend himself. He received his black belt under Master Tomizaki at the age of 12, at which point he took a three year hiatus. At the age of 15, he returned to his training.

Kamran hoped that through his training he would be able to better himself as well as those around him. He began to teach under Master Tomizaki in 2006 and has continued to do so ever since.

Kamran has competed locally in Concord, San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland. He has also performed locally kung fu and Lion Dance.

"Life is filled with incredible hardship and adversity. You will face many opponents throughout life, both literal as well as figurative. However, nothing compares to the fight that each of us faces within ourselves. Kung fu has given me the ability to continuously become a better person." - Kamran Rahbari
